The media has finally started to address female infidelity. Many women have their midlife crisis in their twenties and thirties after about a four year stent. They follow four stages: 

Why Do Women Cheat, Loneliness 

Women first feel lonely and that things are missing in their lives. They lose interest in sex and go to great lengths to avoid sex with their mate. Sex becomes a chore like cleaning the bath room or walking the dog. They want more than what their current life offers. They start analyzing what’s wrong with themselves and their partner. 

Why Do Women Cheat, They Fantasize About Other Men 

The next stage women go through before they cheat is a sense of reawakened desire towards other men. Often times this is triggered by a encounter with an associate at work or someone outside her normal social circles.

These encounters may remain platonic but women will give a huge amount of emotional significance to them.  

Women at this stage have not had sex in a while and they are itchy. They carry a huge amount of guilt and regret but they follow through anyway.

They might even be very kind to their partners but not out of love but for overcoming their feeling of guilt.

But this soon changes. Soon they will start to justify their behavior based upon how they feel mistreated from their partner. 

Women Finally Cheat 

This stage is when the cheating starts. Women feel alive. Infatuation rules again. They live two lives, the life with their husbands and the life of the affair. When one affair ends another may begin even though she vows never again. Women at this stage sort of live in a life of limbo.  

The man in her life will make futile efforts to real her in. This will lead to even more emotional separation. 

Why Do Women Cheat, They End the Relationship or Continue with the Affair 

Women who have cheated finally decide they need a clean slate in life and dump the guy or get a divorce. They believe they have matured and realize what they really want out of life, only to start the cycle again.

Women rarely want to talk openly about their former affair. When they did, however, women expressed regret and guilt about the hurt that they caused to their ex-spouses and their children. 

Others, at this stage, will continue cheating on their partners. In fact, some women that I interviewed said that their marital sex was better by having an affair.

They had gotten over the initial guilt and embarrassment and realized that having two men enhanced both relationships.  

Women in this category were almost always having affairs with married men or men that were already in a committed relationship. This way, they believe, both couples could survive without any disruption.  

Why Do Women Cheat, Conclusion 

Women cheat and relationships end because guys and girls lack communication skills.

Many relationships can be solved if people knew how the different emotions intertwine between the sexes. This applies to dating and married individuals alike.

Women’s infidelity should be common know how to couples dating. If men are armed with the reasons why women cheat above, they stand a much better chance of creating an environment where the girl is happy and content.

Without this information, women may very well end up cheating.
